Projects Under Procrastiation

Like most people, I'm procrastinating on finishing other projects. Maybe you'll be the one to encourage me to finish!

SkiesAbovePorts.substack.com - The world often feels like the sky has turned to the colour of a television turned to a dead channel. And sometimes, I just want to take what I see on that screen and put it into words. I've promised myself 2 years in a row now to start blogging about topics that interest me, from under-discussed politics, to culture and media, to observations I make in my daily life. One day...
Rxivofourown.org - A project inspired by the pun, this would be AO3 inspired skin of not just ArXiv, but other preprint servers.
A better mystery maker - I dislike the murder mystery parties currently available for sale and on the internet. Overtly gimmicky, poorly written, or lacking any opportunities for deductive reasoning, they mostly fail, in my view, to capture the spirit of a good mystery. With a healthy dose of arrogance, not only do I think I can do better, I think I can with an app that can help game masters structure mysteries in a way that provides opportunities for both logical reasoning and lots of roleplay.
LegisLiner - Bringing git-diff to Canadian Parlimentary Bills. Currently, across all levels of government in Canada, most bills to amend existing legislation are released without a blackline or git-diff-style way to compare the changes proposed. I've never thought it made much sense that what is standard practice in the world of legal contracts and document editing is not the norm when it comes to editing the laws of the nation.
